800 acres, 3 weddings, 2 festivals and..
Since we held our first wedding celebration way back in 2013 (and happy anniversary Amy & Rob!) we seen a steady increase in the number of couples looking to use our outdoor pitches to host their wedding festivities. In 2015 we quietly launched our specific venue hire business, Tiptop Venues, to handle the increasing demand to hire parts of the estate and since then the number of bookings has steadily increase.
In 2016 we saw Sarah and Paul kick off the season in May, followed by Hannah and John in June with Anita and Matt, as well as welcoming back Flummoxed Festival and Into the Wild, both of which saw large increases in the number of people attending.
So where is this all going?
For the 2017 season we have set aside even more of the estates 800 acres for outdoor pitches, adding a little over 7 acres more to the available areas and our team will be growing with the addition of a full time venue manager.
Ideas are also taking shape to add some Glamping units to the more secluded parts of the site, allowing visitors to truly get away from it all (while still only being 10mins from Domino's!)
